Help & FAQ
How to use Lianas, part by part. A question that is not here? Just ask Lianas in the chat.
Getting started
What is Lianas?
A private right hand that never forgets. You talk to her by text or voice: she sorts your email, keeps your calendar, reminders and to-dos, files everything into folders, and remembers your topics from one conversation to the next, so you don't repeat yourself.
By default she runs on sovereign Swiss infrastructure, and your data is never used to train anyone's models.
How do I get started?
Create an account, that's all: there is nothing to configure. The first time, you land in the chat, where Lianas welcomes you and suggests three first things to try. Tap one: it is typed into the input, and you send it.
Connecting your mailbox or calendar is optional. When a question needs one, a "Connect my mailbox" or "Connect my calendar" button shows up under Lianas's reply. You can also do it from the desk or from Settings.
Where are Settings and this help?
The Settings button is at the bottom of the desk. This help page opens with the "Help" button at the top of Settings.
How do I give feedback on Lianas?
Tap "Give feedback", in the side bar on a computer or at the bottom of the desk on a phone, write what you want to tell us (a remark, a bug, an idea) and send it.
You can also just tell Lianas in the chat, for example "I have a remark about the app: …", and she passes it on. Every piece of feedback is read.
What is the guided tour?
The first time you reach the desk, short popups show you what needs you first, your week, your to-dos, your mail, the folders and the button to talk to Lianas. "Skip the tour" ends it at any time.
To see it again, open Settings and tap "Replay the tour".
Which languages does she speak?
English and French. Your account language (Settings › Account › Language) is used for the app, emails, notifications and Lianas's replies, even when you write to her in another language. Ask her explicitly if you want her to switch. In French she says vous; ask her to say tu if you prefer, and she will remember.
Can I use Lianas with a keyboard or a screen reader?
Yes. The app works from the keyboard, dialogs and menus included, every button and field has a name screen readers can read out, and chat replies are announced once they are finished. Animations stop when your system asks for reduced motion.
The desk
What is the desk?
Your home page once signed in. At a glance: what is waiting for your approval, what to handle today, your meetings this week, your to-dos, your unread mail, your folders and what Lianas did in the last 24 hours.
"Talk to Lianas" opens the chat, and the Settings button is at the bottom of the page.
What is in "To validate"?
Everything Lianas prepared that is waiting for a tap from you: replies ready for your mail, reminders she suggests from a conversation or a mail, invitations to add to your calendar, and follow-ups on mail that got no answer.
You send, edit or ignore each one in a tap. An ignored proposal does not come back.
And "To handle"?
The to-dos due today or overdue, and the unread mail sorted as To reply or Admin that is not already in "To validate". The rest of the unread mail stays in "Unread mail".
Tap a mail: a conversation opens with "Read the email from… and tell me what I should do with it" already typed, you only have to send it.
What does the desk agenda show?
Today's meetings, then those of the next seven days. Under each one, a short brief: its folder, the last mail received about it and the open to-dos, with the address as a link to the map.
Tap a meeting to talk about it: the conversation opens with the meeting already quoted.
What does "Last 24 hours" count?
What Lianas did for you since yesterday: mail sorted, replies sent (including those sent on their own in automatic mode), reminders sent, items filed into folders and conversations marked done. The block only shows when something happened.
Chat and conversations
How do I find an old conversation?
Tap "Conversation history" at the top of the chat. Your conversations are grouped by folder, pinned ones first, and the search covers titles as well as the text of the messages.
A conversation's ⋮ menu lets you pin it, mark it as done, rename it, export it as Markdown or delete it (right away, with no way back). "New conversation" starts from a blank page.
Why is a conversation marked as done?
When a conversation has been quiet for a few hours and its subject looks settled, Lianas marks it as done: it moves to the bottom of its group. Write in it to reopen it, or pick "Reopen" in its menu. A pinned conversation is never marked this way.
Can I type while Lianas answers?
Yes. A message sent during her reply waits its turn ("Sends after the reply"), and you can cancel it in a tap.
You can also ask for several things in one message, for example two reminders, a to-do and something to remember: each step shows while it happens.
What can I do with a reply?
Copy it, regenerate it or listen to it with "Read aloud", using the buttons under the reply. Lianas also shows there the memories she used, what she remembered, and the searches and pages she read.
Can I carry on from another device?
Yes, your conversations are the same everywhere: open it from the history. A message you started and did not send follows you from one device to the next, and when the same conversation is open on two screens, the reply shows on both.
If the connection drops, the app reconnects on its own, and what you typed in the meantime is sent as soon as the network is back.
Can I give Lianas standing instructions?
Yes, in Settings › Assistant › Custom instructions (up to 4000 characters): tone, format, things to avoid, how to address you. They apply to every conversation, and are also used to sort your mail and for automatic replies.
Memory
How does Lianas remember things?
As you talk, she notes durable facts (people, preferences, projects) in a private memory, and recalls only what is relevant to the current topic, not your whole history. Context from one conversation does not bleed into an unrelated one.
Her memory tidies itself: duplicates are merged and missing links added.
How do I make her remember something?
Just say it: "Remember that I prefer morning meetings". The fact is kept and pinned, and "Remembered: …" shows under the reply.
Can I see and correct what she remembers?
Yes, in Settings › Data › Context graph. The List view lets you search a memory, rename it, pin it (it is then always kept in context) or forget it. The Graph view shows the links between people, projects and places, and lets you delete an item or a link.
To erase everything: Settings › Data › "Wipe all memory…". This cannot be undone.
How do I connect my mailbox?
Pick your provider: Infomaniak (kSuite), Gmail, iCloud, or "Other" to type the IMAP and SMTP servers yourself. The servers fill in on their own, and a short guide with a direct link helps you create the app password it asks for. Outlook is not supported yet, it is planned.
The form opens from Settings › Email, from the desk's Unread mail block, or from the "Connect my mailbox" button under a reply. You can connect several mailboxes and name them (Work, Personal…).
What about Gmail?
Gmail asks for an app password: turn on 2-Step Verification on your Google account, create an app password (the link is in the form), then paste it. Only Gmail mail connects this way, Google Calendar is not supported yet.
How does Lianas sort my mail?
Each new mail is sorted (To reply, Admin, Information, Noise), summed up in one sentence and filed into its folder. When it calls for an answer, Lianas prepares one. Everything is on the Mail page, by tab. To sort it, she also looks at whether it is addressed to you or you are only in copy, whether it was sent in bulk or automatically, whether it answers a conversation, and whether you answered or pinned its sender. When you change how a mail is sorted, she remembers it for that sender. When you connect a mailbox, the unread mail of the last 3 days is sorted too, 10 at most.
That is the default for a connected mailbox. You can change it mailbox by mailbox in Settings › Email › Monitoring.
In Settings › Email, "What Lianas does on her own with your mail" lets you turn off filing into folders, suggested reminders and events, drafted replies and follow-ups. What you turn off no longer asks any work from the AI.
How do I send a prepared reply?
On the Mail page, or in "To validate" on the desk: "Send" sends it as it is, "Edit" opens the draft, "Ignore" sets it aside. On the Mail page, "Discuss" opens a conversation to rework it with Lianas, and "Move to" changes how the mail is sorted.
The reply goes out in the same thread, and a copy is put in your mailbox's Sent folder.
Does Lianas send mail without me?
Not unless you choose it. By default, a mail only goes out on your tap, or when you ask her to in the chat.
"Reply automatically" is turned on mailbox by mailbox, in Settings › Email › Monitoring. Lianas then replies on her own when one of your Custom instructions clearly covers the mail, or when a simple acknowledgement is obviously right, at most three replies per pass, and only to senders whose address the receiving mail server could verify (DMARC). She leaves everything else to you, and her report arrives on the desk. A rule you give her in the chat, such as "answer quote requests saying I will call back within 24 hours", is added to your Custom instructions. Every mail of that mailbox is still sorted, filed and followed by its suggestions like the others. The replies she sent on her own stay in their tab for a week, then remain in the "Answered by Lianas" tab of the Mail page.
Can I write or reply to a mail from the chat?
Yes: "what are my latest emails?", "reply to Claire that Thursday works for me", "write to Marc that the meeting moves to 2pm". Lianas asks for what is missing (recipient, text). If she just read a mail, a file or a page in the same request, she shows you the text first and waits for your go-ahead. The same goes for opening a web address that was not written as is in what she read, and for remembering something from it.
Can Lianas write an invoice or a document?
Yes: ask for an invoice, a quote, a letter or a certificate and she writes it as a PDF, shown in the conversation to download and kept with your files and in its folder. Invoices follow the rules of your country, France, Switzerland or elsewhere. Ask for a payment QR code and she adds it from your IBAN: the QR-bill for a Swiss account, the European transfer code for a euro invoice paid to another European account.
Your business details (name, address, company and VAT numbers, IBAN, logo) are remembered once you give them, and you can check or change them in Settings › Assistant. She asks for what is missing rather than inventing it.
She can also attach a document to a mail ("send the invoice to Claire"). That mail never leaves on its own: it waits in a card under her reply and on the desk, where you read it, change it if needed and click Send.
Can Lianas archive, delete or file my mail?
Yes, only when you ask: in the chat ("archive Claire's email", "file Marc's invoice in Invoices") or on the Mail page, with "Archive", "Delete" and "File" under each mail, then a confirmation. If she just read a mail, a file or a page in the same request, she first tells you which mail and where, and waits for your go-ahead.
A deleted mail goes to your mailbox's trash, nothing is erased for good. Archiving uses your mailbox's archive folder; if there is none, Lianas asks you before creating one named "Archives". She only files a mail in a folder of the mailbox it is in, and it then leaves the Mail page.
How do I open a mail's attachment?
Ask Lianas to read the mail, then to open the attachment by its name ("open the attached PDF"). The file goes through the antivirus, is kept in your library, filed under the mail's folder, and read like any other file.
Does Lianas follow up on mail that got no answer?
Yes. When a mail you sent 5 to 21 days ago is still waiting for an answer that was clearly expected, Lianas prepares a follow-up in "To validate" ("No reply for … days"). It goes out in the same thread in a tap, and disappears on its own if the answer arrives.
This works as long as the mailbox's monitoring is not turned off, and can be turned off in Settings › Email.
What about invitations received by mail?
When a mail invites you at a precise date and time and a calendar is connected, Lianas proposes the event in "To validate": "Add to calendar" creates it. With several calendars, it goes into the default calendar chosen in Settings › Calendar.
How do I never miss someone's mail?
Pin that person in your memory (Settings › Data › Context graph, List view). Their mail is then pushed to you whatever its category, except during your quiet hours.
Can Lianas read my mail at a set time?
Yes, ask her: "read my mail every morning at 8". Each time, if there is something new, Lianas puts a summary of your unread mail on the desk and lets you know. Asking again replaces the previous schedule.
Calendar
Which calendars can I connect?
Infomaniak (kSuite), with the short username (not your email address) and the password shown in the Infomaniak sync assistant. iCloud, with an app-specific password created on your Apple account. Or any CalDAV calendar, such as Nextcloud, with "Other". Google Calendar and the Outlook calendar are not supported yet, they are planned.
The form opens from Settings › Calendar, from the desk's Agenda block, or from the "Connect my calendar" button under a reply. You can connect several calendars and name them (Work, Personal…).
How do I manage my appointments?
Just say it: "what do I have tomorrow?", "add the dentist on Thursday at 2pm", "move my call with Claire to 4pm", "delete Friday's meeting". An event can also repeat or come with a reminder beforehand.
With several calendars, Lianas asks which one if you don't say.
Can Lianas find me a slot?
Yes: "find me a free hour this week to see Claire", "a 30 minute slot tomorrow morning", "a weekly meeting on Tuesdays". Lianas looks at all your calendars, offers two or three slots, and only creates the event once you have picked one.
By default she searches on weekdays between 8am and 7pm; tell her if you want other hours, weekends or a margin before and after. For a repeating event she also checks the following weeks. An event marked free does not block the slot, and all-day events (a birthday, a public holiday) only block when marked busy.
Where do I see my calendar?
The Calendar page (in the side bar on a computer) shows the next two weeks, all calendars together, read only. The desk shows today and the seven days ahead. Tap a meeting to talk about it with Lianas.
Does Lianas prepare my meetings?
Yes. Each upcoming meeting is attached to its folder when there is one, and on the desk it shows the last mail received about it and the open to-dos. When the place is only a name, Lianas looks up the address in her memory, then on OpenStreetMap, and shows it as a link to the map.
In Settings › Calendar › Maps, choose whether that link opens OpenStreetMap or Google Maps.
Reminders and to-dos
How do I set a reminder?
Ask in plain language: "remind me tomorrow at 9 to call the accountant". The reminder rings at that time on every device, even with the app closed once it is installed (see below).
It can repeat: "every Monday at 8", "on the 15th of every month", "on the last day of the month".
Can it keep reminding me until it's done?
Yes, if you ask: "remind me every 30 minutes until it's done". The reminder comes back at that interval until you answer "Done". Lianas never decides this on her own, and asks for the interval if you did not give one. This works for a one-time reminder, not a recurring one.
How do I answer a reminder?
From the notification, "Done" closes it. On an until-done reminder, "Not yet" closes the notification, and the reminder comes back at the set interval. From the desk or the To-dos page, check it off, or tap "Skip" to skip one occurrence of a recurring reminder.
Each occurrence only waits for one answer: a missed occurrence stays pending until you answer "Done" or "Skip".
Can I manage my reminders from the chat?
Yes: "what do I have to do?", "move the accountant reminder to Thursday", "cancel tomorrow's reminder", "done". Postponing a recurring reminder does not change how it repeats.
Where do I see all my to-dos?
On the To-dos page, grouped as overdue, today, later and no date. Add one with "Add a to-do" and, if needed, a date in "When". Tap a to-do to rename it, change its date or delete it, and check it off when it's done.
To change its priority or how it repeats, go to Settings › To-dos › Edit, or ask Lianas. Priority rises on its own as a to-do waits or its due date gets close.
Does Lianas create to-dos without asking me?
No. A to-do or a reminder is only created when you ask for it, or when you accept one Lianas suggested. An "I have to" in passing or a "no" creates nothing.
When you mention a dated commitment ("I'll call Marc back on Tuesday"), Lianas offers to remind you, under her reply and in "To validate", with "Add reminder" or "Ignore".
Notes
Can I take notes without Lianas answering?
Yes. Tap Note (in the bottom bar on a phone, at the top of the side bar on a computer), type, then "Add" or Ctrl+Enter. Lianas does not answer it and files the note in the right folder on her own, creating one when none fits. A note costs no credit.
On an Android phone, a long press on the Lianas icon offers Note directly. You can also write in a folder's Notes section.
Can I dictate a note?
Yes: tap "Dictate", speak, then "Stop dictating". The text is added to the note, which you read over before adding it. Only the transcription is counted, like a dictation in the chat.
Where do notes Lianas could not file go?
They wait under "Notes to file" on the Folders page. "File into…" puts them in the folder you choose.
How do I get a summary of my notes?
In a folder that has notes, tap "Summarize": a conversation opens with the request already typed, you send it, and Lianas reads the folder's notes to write it.
You can also ask her in the chat, for a period across every folder: "what did I note this week?". That reply is charged like any other.
The chat itself does not create notes: to keep one, use the Note button.
Files and documents
Can I hand Lianas a document?
Drop a file anywhere on the conversation, or pick it with the paperclip (PDF, Office, text or image, up to 25 MB). It is kept in your library, filed under the conversation's folder, and stays reachable in that folder's Files section.
Then just ask ("read the invoice I sent you"). Lianas reads PDFs, Word (docx) and OpenDocument (odt) documents, text files, and the text on an image (a photographed document, a screenshot) with an OCR that runs on our own servers. A spreadsheet, a presentation or a PDF made only of scanned pages is kept, but not read.
Can she see what is on a photo?
Yes. Drop a photo and ask about it in the same message ("what is this part?", "what does this chart say?"): Lianas looks at the image itself, and it stays in view for your follow-up questions.
It is done by the models Lianas runs on in Switzerland, so the photo does not leave for another provider. If you use your own key with a model that cannot see, Lianas only gets the text on the image and tells you so.
Can I find a file by what is in it?
Yes. Each kept file gets a short digest in memory, so Lianas finds it by what it says: "the audit report from last week" is enough, without remembering its name.
What does "remember this file" do?
Lianas keeps the file's digest in her memory for good, pinned, and remembers its key facts. Without it, deleting the file also erases its digest.
Are my files checked?
Yes. Every file, mail attachments included, goes through an antivirus before it is kept. An infected file is refused and never stored, and if the antivirus does not answer, the file is refused too.
Folders
What are folders for?
Lianas files your conversations, to-dos, reminders, meetings, mail, files and notes into folders on her own, one per client, project or subject, and creates them as you talk. You have nothing to sort.
A folder's page gathers its to-dos, upcoming meetings, conversations, notes and files.
How do I correct how things are filed?
Tap "Organize" on the Folders page (or open Settings › Folders): rename, merge or delete a folder, move an item to another folder or remove it. Deleting a folder does not delete what is in it.
Your correction always wins: Lianas never undoes something you filed by hand, nor a name you chose.
Can I create a folder myself?
Yes, with "New folder" on the Folders page.
Voice
Can I talk to Lianas?
Yes, with the chat's microphone. Tap it once to speak and again to stop: your words appear as you speak, are added after what you had typed, and nothing is sent until you send it. The cross cancels the recording.
For a real spoken exchange, turn on "Continuous voice": each sentence goes out on its own after a short silence, and Lianas answers it.
Can Lianas answer out loud?
Yes. Voice responses are off by default: turn them on with the "Voice responses" button at the top of the chat, or in Settings › Voice, where you also set the speed. Lianas stops talking as soon as you speak again or send a message.
To hear a single reply, tap "Read aloud" under it. The voice runs on our own server and costs no credit.
Can I choose Lianas's voice?
Yes, in Settings › Providers, Text-to-Speech card, Voice menu: automatic (following the reply's language), or a given voice per language, female or male depending on the language.
Where is my voice processed?
Transcription runs on our own server, with the service hosted in Switzerland as a fallback. Your voice only goes to another provider if you choose your own key.
Messages from Lianas
Can Lianas write to me on her own?
Yes. Her messages arrive as cards under "From Lianas" on the desk, with a notification. For example a mailbox report in automatic mode, a scheduled mail reading, a pending subject she offers to pick back up, or a message you asked her for later.
"Discuss" opens the conversation, "Close" dismisses the card.
Why does she offer to pick a conversation back up?
When a conversation is left hanging, with nothing new for three days, Lianas reads it once. If something is worth moving forward, she offers it under "From Lianas".
That is at most one offer a day, never twice for the same conversation, and she waits when a reminder is already set on that subject.
Can I ask her to come back to a subject later?
Yes, say it in the conversation: "let's talk about it again on Monday". When the time comes, Lianas offers to pick it back up, as a card on the desk.
You can also ask her to write to you at a given time ("on Friday at 5pm, write me where we stand on this project"): she then writes her message with what she knows that is new on the subject.
Web search
Can she look things up online?
Yes. When current information is needed (news, prices, opening hours…), she searches the web or reads the page you point her to, and the steps under her reply show what she searched and read.
If search does not work, she tells you instead of making things up, and a link in her reply that does not work is crossed out.
Can she show me a web page?
Yes, ask her for a screenshot of the page: it shows under the reply, and "Open screenshot" enlarges it. A screenshot is kept 15 days, with a countdown, then removed.
What is deep research?
For a question that needs many searches, Lianas offers a deep research: she chains searches and source readings until she has a solid answer. It only starts after "Launch the research", shows its passes and the credits spent, and "Stop" ends it at any time.
"Quick answer" replies right away, without it. Each pass costs as much as a message.
Your account
How do I sign in?
With your email and a password. You must be at least 16.
After signing up by email, you can try Lianas with 3 messages, without actions. Then confirm your address with the link you receive to unlock the chat, voice and everything else. Without confirmation, the account is deleted after 30 days.
How do I change my email, password or language?
In Settings › Account. A new address is only used once you click the link sent to it.
Forgot your password? Tap "Forgot password?" on the sign-in page to get a link.
Which emails will I get from Lianas?
The ones about your account (confirming your address, password, inactivity notices), one help message a few days after sign-up if you have barely used Lianas yet, a notification that reached none of your devices, and at most one email a month about what's new, only when there is something.
To stop receiving what's new, use the link at the bottom of the email or turn off "What's new by email" in Settings › Notifications.
Privacy and security
Where does my data live?
Your account, conversations, memory, mail, calendar and files are stored and processed in Switzerland, on Infomaniak's infrastructure. Transcription, voice and web search run on our own servers. Web searches go out to public search engines without your IP address, the places of your events to OpenStreetMap, and push notifications pass, encrypted, through your browser's service. Nothing is sold, and your data is never used to train a model.
Visit analytics are cookieless and never identify you. Some visits are recorded (pages, clicks, scrolling) with all text hidden, and you can turn it off in Settings. The details are on the Transparency page, linked at the bottom of the page.
Can I export or delete everything?
Yes, anytime, in Settings › Data: "Export my data" downloads your account, conversations, memory, folders, sorted mail, events, file list, notes, to-dos, scheduled tasks, notifications, devices and feedback (a JSON file), and "Data summary" gives a readable version.
Deleting your account (Settings › Account › Danger zone) erases your data with it: conversations, memory, mail, files, notes, to-dos and audit log. Only anonymous usage statistics remain.
What happens to an unused account?
After 3 months without activity, you get an email. A warning follows around 5 and a half months, and the account is deleted after 6 months, never less than two weeks after the warning. Just coming back resets the clock.
Is Lianas eco-designed?
It is one of our commitments: a small model for short tasks (routing a message, sorting a mail), the big one kept for work that needs it, spoken replies off by default, and no trackers. You see the estimated energy of your own AI use in your settings. The Eco-design page, linked at the bottom of the page, details what is done and what is not yet.
Credits
Is it free?
Yes, to start: 200 credits are given once, when you sign up, to try Lianas. They do not renew. Running tasks on a machine (the desktop app or a server) and recurring tasks are not part of it.
There is no paid plan yet. A plan for everyday use is in the works: in the Pricing part of the home page, "I'm interested" lets you be told when it launches. Once your credits run out, the app offers it too, in one click with your account address.
What uses credits?
Every reply from Lianas spends from a single balance: 8 credits for a text reply, and as much for each extra step when she acts (create, search, read a page). A voice message adds its transcription, a photo you send 4 credits, and each pass of a deep research costs as much as a message.
Background work does too: sorting each new mail, scheduled readings, automatic replies and the messages Lianas writes to you on her own. A note is free, and so are the voice reading replies aloud and the sorting of the mail already there when you connect a mailbox. Every cost is detailed in Settings › Credits and on the Credits & pricing page.
Where do I see my balance?
The meter at the top of the chat shows what is left. Tap it to open Settings › Credits, which details the costs. You are warned when 80% then 95% of your credits are used.
What happens at zero?
The chat, voice and dictation pause, and Lianas stops her background work (mail sorting, follow-ups, messages). Your account, conversations, memory and files stay intact, and you can still write notes.
Install on your phone and notifications
Why install it on my phone?
Added to your home screen, Lianas opens like a real app (full screen, its own icon), even on a poor connection, and can notify you (reminders, follow-ups, messages) even when it is closed and the phone is locked.
Install on Android (Chrome)
Open Lianas in Chrome.
Tap the menu (the three dots, top right).
Tap "Install app" (or "Add to Home screen"), then confirm.
Open Lianas from its new home-screen icon.
In the chat, tap the bell to enable notifications and allow them when the phone asks. They then arrive even with the app closed and the screen locked.
Install on iPhone / iPad (Safari)
Open Lianas in Safari (it must be Safari, not Chrome or another browser).
Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen).
Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen", then "Add".
Close Safari and open Lianas from its new home-screen icon: notifications only work when opened from the icon, not from the Safari tab.
In the chat, tap the bell to enable notifications and allow them when iOS asks. Requires iOS 16.4 or later.
How do I turn notifications on?
After your first reminder, Lianas offers to turn them on for the device. You can also do it anytime with the bell at the top of the chat, then allow them when the browser or the phone asks.
How do I choose how Lianas reaches me?
In Settings › Notifications, for each kind (reminders, messages from Lianas, mail by category, low credits…): Push notifies your devices, Desk only shows it in the app, History only keeps it in the notification list.
During quiet hours (10pm to 7am by default), what Lianas sends on her own stays on the desk. Reminders you set still ring.
I missed a notification, where do I find it?
In Settings › Notifications › Notification history, with unread ones highlighted.
If a push notification reached none of your devices, an email tells you after about a quarter of an hour that something is waiting in Lianas, without repeating its content.
How do I manage my devices?
Settings › Devices lists the devices connected to your account. Rename them, or remove one: it is signed out and no longer gets your notifications.
Notifications aren't working
Check that you opened Lianas from the home-screen icon, enabled the bell, and allowed notifications in the phone's prompt. On iPhone, also check Settings › Notifications › Lianas.
No "Add to Home Screen" on iPhone? You are probably not in Safari: open the page in Safari first.
Finally, check Settings › Notifications in Lianas: a kind set to Desk or History is not pushed, and quiet hours hold back what Lianas sends on her own.
Advanced: your own AI provider
Can I use my own AI provider?
Yes. In Settings › Providers, add your key with "+ Add credential" (Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, OpenRouter, Mistral and other European providers), then pick it service by service: chat model, transcription, voice, web search. A service without a key keeps the default.
With your key, the matching actions cost fewer credits: your model key lowers the cost of replies, and your transcription key makes transcription free.
Does my data leave Switzerland with my key?
Yes, it goes to the provider you chose. Each service says in Settings where your data goes (Switzerland, the EU or outside the EU), and a banner in the chat reminds you when actions leave the Swiss infrastructure. "Don't show again" hides it on that device.
Does everything work with my key?
With an Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, OpenRouter or Mistral key, yes. With other providers, Lianas does only one action per message, and cannot read or send your mail, change or delete an event, open your files, notes or attachments, or keep your rules for mail. The settings say so when you pick such a provider.
